Nice work you are doing there. I have an N123 as my main tractor, with Quicke 55 loader, and I plough about 70 ha annually for wheat, malting barley and OSR. I used to have an Overum, but for the past 8 years use a 4 furrow Kuhn plough. Both are good ploughs, but the Kuhn is more substantial and the metal seems to last longer. I also keep the loader on when ploughing for better weight distribution, and a heavy muck fork for collecting big stones, of which there are many. Previous tractors were a 6750, then an N111. The N123 is quite an improvement, and I love it ! Greetings from Aberdeenshire.

I hate Elans. In 71, my much smaller/younger brother got one, but while high-marking he just went straight up without bothering to turn before he bogged out. Since my 340 TNT could never get as high as him, it was my job (per Dad) to hike up and get him unstuck. Yeah, I yelled at him...a LOT! LOL

all that power just spinning the track, still they dont give the utility-lines a much needed cam increase to something like a special 50mm tundra needs it, scandic needs it.. something that will let these machines climb with ease instead of full throttle and prayer, yet beeing able to make decent tracks that arent just shredded.

May i ask why you haven't grazed off or cut the grass cover before ploughing? A four furrow reversible plough would be no trouble to pull, but, when you are turning it over at the headland it would be pretty heavy. Great video 👍

I think the skimmers need to be adjusted to cut a little deeper to bury the grass, otherwise very nice ploughing 👍

To prevent the plow from clogging, move the skimmers as close to the main furrow as possible and increase their depth a little.

It just occurred to me that I haven't seen a farmer use a breaking plow since about 1972. Where I grew up in Tennessee, grain farmers used a chisel plow until they stopped plowing altogether in the late 80s. Now, I'm the only one I know using a breaking plow.

Another nice video and as already said they deserve far more views as reward for your efforts. If I may be so bold as to suggest using words in the title that people are more likely to search for such as tractor, farming, machinery etc. Not saying you need a title 2m long but you do produce some nice content that will appeal to many. Hope you don't mind me saying. 👍
